Mombasa Day Tour
Mombasa is one of the oldest cities in Kenya’s coastline and the second largest after Nairobi. It is the port city where it serves East and Central Africa.
A day tour in Mombasa will introduce you to history, culture and architecture of the people in this historic city.
Our tour shall start at 8:00am in the morning where your tour driver guide will pick you up at your hotel. Our first point of the tour shall be the Market (locally known markiti). Here, we shall interact with locals and get to know about spices and local spicy food cooked around Mombasa.
We shall proceed to Mombasa Tusks by passing through Mwembe Tayari where we shall stop for a little history about colonials and arabs that ruled Mombasa. A visit to the Indian temples shall follow before we arrive at the historic Mombasa Tusks.
Tour takes us to the old town where we head to the Fort Jesus and learn about precolonial history of the Portuguese and the Omani Arabs. You shall have a view of the Indian Ocean while inside the fort.

proceed for lunch at Forodhani with views of Indian Ocean while enjoying fresh sea food.
In the afternoon, we shall proceed to the Haller Park where we sight different wild animals up close; buffalo, eland, waterbuck, oryx, hippopotamus among many birds available at the query turned game park. You will be able to feed the giraffes at your pleasure.
Our tour driver guide will then drop you off to your hotel in the late afternoon.
